Are there devices like hearing aids but allow you to smell scents better. If not, someone should make one.

I am 24 years old and do wear hearing aids, but I still have hearing loss. Could that be a reason not to attend? On the notice it says that for a disability that a physician has to fill it out. I live in California if that helps, thanks.
