Is it best to go to a doctor's office for hearing aids like ear specialist Dr. Carol Jackson by Hoag Hospital?
I've seen ads by Costco but when when I went in their audiologist had quit but they had a seller. Hearing aids look cheap on the internet but there must be more to them working than just sticking in your ear. Who can you trust nowadays?
The key is to see an audiologist. An audiologist has to have a minimum of a masters degree soon to be a doctorate degree to practice. They have extensive training on everything related to the ear as well as hearing aids and assistive devices. They are knowledgeable professionals who are not out there simply to make money selling hearing aids. They want to be sure that everyone has proper care for their hearing needs.
