Is there any device/means to connect your PC wirelessly to your home stereo to hear Internet radio this way?

I know there are media devices to let you hear/see your mp3/photo/video files from your PC on your home stereo/TV, but what about hearing anything from your PC (esp. Internet radio) wirelessly on your home stereo? My PC is upstairs and the home stereo is downstairs. I don’t want to connect the PC directly with wires to the stereo, that’s why I want to know if a device will broadcast an audio signal to my home stereo. Or, at least, something like wireless speakers that could allow me listen to Internet radio across the house. Thanks!!!

My husband is traveling long distance (over 1500 miles) and only has a radio and cassette player in his truck. Cassettes are difficult to buy retain now. Is there a device that he can purchased to put on/in his truck to pick up good R&B radio stations traveling from Northern California to Oklahoma?

If there are, how much are they and do they have to be installed professionally? Thanks much!

hi my mother told me since i was little i have nerve deafness. i was tested for this. she thinks its because of my ear infections.

i have had a few more infections as an adult. and i feel my hearing is getting worse.

my mother has told me there is nothing i can do because with nerve deafness you can wear a hearing aid, because some tones are permanently unavilable forever.

it is really annoying. and no one believes me that i am deaf. i have had to drop classes, it interferes with my social life, etc.

i was wondering if many years later there is any improvements with hearing loss such as the one i have and if i should make an appt with a dr.
sorry, i wasnt clear. my mother said the drs told her that my hearing loss does not improve with a hearing aid, because it is permanent.
all a hearing aid would do is elevate that which i already hear. there are tones in the world which i cant hear ever, not with a hearing aid or anything. this is what i was told.
its like swiss cheese hearing. i hear part of the conversation, but miss words. it throws my whole balance off. people think im being rude and not responding to them. im trying to piece together what they said.
im going to ask the dr about an implant. sounds really disgusting though i have to admit.
