How good are miracle ear hearing aids?

My grandmother is thinking about spending 00 for a hearing aid. Miracle Ear is the brand that she is looking at. Is there a website that has evaluations on hearing aids on other information?
She has already been to an audiologist and I know that Miracle Ear only sells their own brand. So in order for anyone to help me, I need to know if anyone has had any experience with Miracle Ear and if it was a good or bad experience, why.

paying 00 for each hearing aid is impossible
Does anyone know of a provider or program which may accept payments or something?

At between 1300 and 4500 dollars for hearing aids I can find no place where the various brands are compared. Consumer reports has not done a comparison

I am aware of what you are saying about different types of hearing loss. But there are many different brands with a great variety of pricing. As with any product I am sure that some brands are a much better value than others. This is not for me but an elderly parent.

Where can I dontate unused or old hearing aids?

I have several hearing aids that are no longer in use. I have given some to HeadStart as they train kids about people with disabilities. But I still have some and I don’t know if there are any places that could use it or recycle it.
Only one of them still works. The other ones don’t because each one has a typical 7-year span. They are in-the-canal hearing aids and I don’t know if they would work with repair.

The reason HeadStart uses them is so that kids will be educated when they see people with hearing aids and know what they are for.

What can be done for personnel in the navy that having hearing aids that dont feel safe on a ship cause of it?

I am in the navy and have recently recieved hearing aids. Hearing loss is common among naval personnel. However I do not feel safe being onboard because of the inability to safely communicate and assess situations. Any help please on what I can do to get shore duty and off the ship?

Are behind the ear hearing aids more comfortable than in the ears?

I have been using in the ear hearing aids since high school and while they work to amplify as well as would be expected, i tend not to wear them all day due to how uncomfortable they are. I am getting new aids this year and would love anyones opinion as to the comfort of behind the ears. Are they any better?

I mean hearing aids are man-made. God wanted hearing impaired people to be hearing impaired so why is it ok to get hearing aids or cochlea implants?

And then you say god intended me to be a man, so that’s why i shouldn’t get a sex change.

How do I comfortably wear eyeglasses and BTE hearing aids?

I wear BTE hearing aids and eyeglasses. I think each of them are designed to fit on top of the ear, without any other device on the ear. As it is, my ears get tired from having both devices on them. And if I were to wear on-the-ear headphones, my ears would be even more tired. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you deal with it?

I need to take my passport picture, and I always have my hair down because of my hearing aids, but I was wondering if the ears have to be showing in the picture? I’m still not used to wearing hearing aids so I will be embarrass if the photographer makes me move my hair behind my ears, and sees my hearing aids. What do you think?
